I observed grade three and took notes for when I do my compare and contrast essay. After the students did a activities.

The students and their parents did an activity where they had to for the tallest Christmas tree.

When I got into the classroom the students continued to work on their geography projects. I conferences with a few students by allowing them to read to me. Then I asked a few students about their book. Most if not all the students were done or waiting to record themselves to I tried by best to help people.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were working on their geography projects. Throughout my placement I went around the room and helped students with create their booklets. In addition, With one of the students I helped put information into their book and we organized the pictures and layout.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were starting to write about their geography projects. Their LEQ was "How do I write a summary of a non-fiction text with out personal opinion or judgments?". I helped with some students fill out a graphic organizer for their geography projects. After the students were instructed to read their books.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were working on their geography projects again. I helped some students put information in their booklets they had to make. They will be doing this for the rest of the week.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were working on their geography projects the entire time. I helped some students find information and facts so they can form an outline to put it into their books.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were going over a vocab test. After I helped the students with their geography projects and then for the remainder of my placement the students had "book buddies" with the first graders.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were finishing their conclusions for their essays. When they were done they had to work on their geography projects. I went around the room and helped people find information for their topics. One of which was the Panama Canal and I has previous background knowledge of it from my history classes. After the students had ROAR, they were assigned to continue to work on their geography projects. For the first time I had a student that was not willing to take my information I was providing to him. The teacher yelled at him but he still never learned. From this I learned that you can only do so much to help a students.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were working on their essay. They had to come up with a thesis. Then they had to for three points that included detail and supporting facts from the actual story. I worked with a student and helped them with forming their essay and main points.

12-5-17

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were working on their narrative/Informational piece. They were required to do a summary, go on quizlet, finish their narrative draft, and then read their silent reading books. I went around the room and helped approve students graded assignments so they can move on to writing their final essay.

12-4-17

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were learning about what a summary is. They had to answer a series of questions and take notes and then glued it into their notebooks. The notes they have taken was going to be graded and handed into the teacher. Once they were given it back they had to reflect upon it so the next time they would get a better grade. Finally, they had to read a story and make a thesis statement with three additional support topics.

When I got in the classroom the students were finishing their writing projects . First, they learned how to support their evidence. Also, they had to write about the character, their significance, and what they did in the story. After the students were finishing choosing their geography project and had to wright it down.

When I got into the class the students were reading a passage. After they had to answer a series of questions related to what they had just read. Next, they were picking their new topics for the geography project. They had to use their topic and research how that affects other countries in the world.

11-29-17

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were looking at several geography topics to choose from. Today I taught the class about goods and services. I used a power point and a video to explain what each of the words meant and their significance. At the end there was a quiz where the students had to choose a specific side of the room based on if the picture was a good or service. There was no roar however the students got to research the topics from the beginning of the time I was in the classroom.

In summery, when I got into the classroom the students were working on a writing assignment. This was a letter about the three little pigs. The goal for the students was to use a character and site their evidence on their details and motives that specific character had. After they got into their silent reading groups and continued to read their books.
