In summary, when I got in the classroom the whole school was doing activities for Thanksgiving. Some went out side and some stayed inside so they could play board games. I was given a assignment to make a slide-show on goods and services so I could teach the class some time after break.

11-16-17

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were working on an online assignment. In addition, they also had to read a passage and answer a series of questions that was going to be graded. After that they went to the first grade room and each of the sixth graders was able to read to a first grader for the remainder of the day.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were doing silent reading. Throughout the time of my placement I conference with many students by having them read to me. Then I would have them explain to me what happened in their book.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were listening to one of Kattie Perry's songs. The purpose of this was to teach the students how to understand the meaning of words and sentences. We had roar and my book group was able to finish "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" book. I asked them many questions about what we had read. Some of the questions included who were the characters, was there any significant symbols, and what was the authors overall message to the reader.

In summary, when I got in the classroom the students were doing silent reading. The students in my book group were finishing up reading the last few chapters so we could discuss it or "roar". When my group we got to the last remaining chapters so the next day we could talk about it. In addition, I was also told that I will be teaching an actual lesson after the Thanksgiving break.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were all taking a test. When they were done my roar group was wrapping up "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". I conferences wit multiple people and they read a chapter to me. Lastly, I had they tell me what happened in the story so far and whats the message the author wants the reader to know.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were all silent reading. I was able to conference with someone about their book called "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". When I helped other students. I assisted them in finding out who the characters are in their story and what the theme is.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were reading independently on Google Classroom. Next, I had the opportunity to go around the room and have the students read to me. After I would ask them what happened in their book and who are the main characters of their book.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were all reading parts of a story. After that I got into my roar group and discussed the chapters we read so far.

In summary, when I got to the classroom the students were ware watching a video on analyzing how two people changed their behavior and what was the overall lesson learned. The video was called night and day and the end result was the two people came to a compromise. Next, I got into my roar group and we continued to read and discuss the book.

In summary, when I got into the classroom the students were trying to find new books to read because it was the start to a new month. When they finished that they continued to work o their three little pigs essay. In addition I was able to help a student form her conclusion on one of her paragraphs. Finally, the students shared their environmental projects and turned them in so they can be graded.

In summary, when I got in the classroom the students were in a circle and sharing their narrative stories thieve been working on for the past couple weeks. Next, they got into tour builder and submitted their environmental projects.

In summary, when I got in the classroom the students were taking a test on reading analysis. They were given a passage and had to wright a essay on proving which character was a hard worker, is brave, and outwits the antagonist. To continue, after the test I got in my roar group and I took the advice you gave me.I had a poster where every new thing we learned I would write it down. From this my book group was able to read to chapter ten and start chapter eleven.
